…get hoagies and then we took
lunch to the park and ate there. That was so much fun! After he and I got home, he was washing his hands in the kitchen and I noticed some over-ripe tomatoes on the table, whereupon I grabbed one and threw it at him! He was mad at first, then, when he realized it was fun he laughed and we laughed and he wanted to hit me with a tomato, too! (I quickly told him there were no other over-ripe tomatoes, so he couldn’t!) It was a day he and I will not forget. I love being spontaneous!
It was pretty spontaneous – wednesday night the family that hosted it said “come on over Friday night – we had 36 kids and parents – played capture the flag, ate Hamburgers and hot dogs, roasted marshmallows and when it got too buggy, came in the house and played Dance Dance Revolution (girl and Moms) and Medal of Honor (boys and Dads) for awhile.
all in all, a fun night.
